SNAP!

A day of solo-shopping again... It's Labour day Holiday, but i dint get anyone out with me today. Hus is working 1st shift, knocks off at 4pm. I had to do alot of shopping for the new house. I prefer to compare quality and prices so it's preferred to do without Hus; wouldn't mind having him as a company tho. But he couldn't be..
My first stop was textile centre in Beach Road(Sultan Road) to be exact, after breakfast with Hus. The whole building is like a ghost town, heard from an uncle that the shops are usually closed on PHs. i comforted myself by walking every level in the building to see that the fabric sold that are not wat i'm actually looking for. It's rather clear that the fabric sold there are in smaller dimensions suitable for making clothings. So i feel better not to come by again on another day...
Then i went around the area searching for textile shops that might have spilled over to the surroundings... NOTHING! But that took me more than an hour of walking around.

SpotLight

Next stop, Spotlight at PS. Almost immediately after my arrival, i decided on 2 fabric. One JETBLACK with strong texture, while the other less texture but a good variation in tones of grey to black. I texted Hus to ask for his opinion. It's the Jetblack one, which i also like because it's thicker.
Takashimaya

With 6 metres of extremely heavy cloth in my hand and backpack, i went to Takashimaya, Ngee Ann City. Amazing right? Sometimes i admire myself for my determination... I do really wanna get things ready so that i can move in on Friday. I bought Corelle Utensils, promised to not break or chip. Because i have personal experience with it, i think it's worth it. Of course the amount of Taka vouchers play the biggest role in this decision.
Those things are heavy, I was comtemplating to take a cab or a bus.The decision was easy when the rain came and the cab queue at Ngee Ann City... I took a bus with at least 10kg of load of myself...
Back in my Pretty Home

The bus ride is barely 20mins... that's what you get when you pay alot for a small house. CONVENIENCE! the walk back was even better. A pretty long walk, with nice breeze and green on your left and right. Serenity...

Well, i still got back perspiring like there's no tomorrow. Remember the 10 kg of load? the long walk? i think it's probably abt 500 metres of walk... But it's all worth it when i got back. I like my house. When i got back, my hands are shaking terribly, load adjustment hasn't be adequately done... Until then everything was okay. Then I waited for 4.45pm to leave the house to meet Hus for shopping and dinner at IKEA.
IKEA

I expected him to be late, like we've agreed to meet at 5pm, i thought 15min lateness is acceptable. Then he came at 5.30pm... this is terrible for a hungry overworked lady, but i thought i shouldn't pull a long face since he's working today. Any working person working on my non-working day is treated with special treatment(esp Hus). I dint talk much until i filled my tummy, i assumed i'll be more calm, which i pull it off quite well.

Soon after dinner, Hus' mobile rang. It's Serko ... How can i not get jealous of this man, or anyone for that matter, who has hus' heart, mind, spirit and voice(communication)? it's a long conversation... I feel as alone as this morning till late afternoon. F***! Seriously, who doesn't like to spend time with their spouse? SULKY :p Why doesn't Hus wanna talk to me as much as he talks to others?
Woodlands Home

Back in Woodlands, after delivering all the bought items... Hus still called Serko to talk... sickened by his negligence, i'm blogging... I need to let this out before i lose sleep over it. FUMING...
