Nostalgic Sunday

It is a good sunday, a mother's day sunday. I woke up late and gotten enough sleep. Hus and i skipped sunday service again. When can we get the discipline to get up on time for church? We've moved our stuff from Woodlands to Clementi on Sat, i guessed that explains the fatigue.
Hus left home for work around 10am, i was left alone to pack the house. I dint stay at home long enough to get it nicely packed because i was menstrating with no pad at home. haha. What a blunder...
I headed to Parkway Parade to do some shopping. Sounds far right? But it isn't really. It takes abt 40mins to reach Parkway Parade Shopping Mall, that includes the time that's spent waiting for 2 buses. Although there's a direct bus there, the changing in buses enable me to reach my destination faster. I'm staying at a very convenient place now.
I love taking buses, cos i get to see many things like buildings and people, the sky and the trees. And it's usually not crowded and it's CHEAP!! Unlike the MRT, we are mostly seated facing the direction the bus is moving; that way, we dun have to face other passengers.
As i was travelling slowly to the east, I feel more and more relaxed as though i had taken a short vacation. I always like the east, the pple there are a little different. We dress and speak differently sometimes. They've got big trees like in Clementi, very shady. But the buildings in PP looked older, i dunno if they are really older or they've "jaded" because of the sea. When i was in SP(singapore polytechnic), i particularly like my eastee friends. pple in the east, eastees. west, westees - named by me Cos they seemed to have more interesting night life, better food at lower price. Of course, they've the EAST COAST.
All these thoughts went through my mind while the bus pressed into the east, the nostalgia drey came to life again. argh... I miss my younger days; my yesteryears. It's not that life sucks now, sometimes it does lah I miss those days where you work part-time, get paid and get pocket money too feels like getting bonus, where you were scared of oily skin now i'm scared of dry skin.
I misses my schoolmates whom we used to hang out with, I miss those crappy times. I miss eating at the back of the class and science labs blunders. I miss laughters while teacher is teaching and friends' note flying when the sliding table fell when he/she fell asleep during class.
Attendance-taking during Mr Mok's class he insisted in calling out everyone's name so that pple wont cheat in signing attendance for pple but he dint lift up his head. Wee Beng and Travis usually took turns imitating different voices to do the "yes", "yesh", "here", "ya" I miss Foodcourt 2 muslim food, i kind of miss Chris too, he's been secretly liking me but has never really told me and everyone knows. He's a rather cool grunch guy and stays in the east.
Then i started to miss rollerbladding, luckily it was raining yesterday. If not, i would be totally into self-pity. I missed rollerbladding with Freddrick Fong, only because he's the only one who's keen in rollerbladding with me. Definately missed picnics in eastcoast, also missed rollerbladding with Hus(before he's Hus) and wakeboarding. sigh...
The thoughts kept coming... then the memory got younger and younger. Like in sec 1 and 2, our group will skipped school to go east coast.
not forgetting, The Masterplan Camp aka the sec 2 church camp that's what mel, levi and i will always call it, that was huge fun. Mel used up all his efforts to convince me in going just because Levi hoped that i can be there.
There i know God, I haven know anything more wonderful since. Of course during that camp, i also know Hus, something that Levi might forever regret in taking me to that camp and the church. haha *giggle slyly* Dun underestimate this camp ok? It's huge fun, BIG fun, GIGANTIC fun, not the type of religious camp that pple expects. I miss camping days, where you sleep in tents and perspire, and no matter how hard you washed your feet, they still get dirty before you reach your tent. I miss staying out days, sleeping late and panda eyes.
kk
The day ended with a ride on dad's lorry, it's so long since i last sat at the back of a lorry.
