Yesterday was a terrific day for me. We went to Thaddeus school again to celebrate 中秋节, then Jan and Enoch took the children out to play lanterns in the evening while I met a friend's friend to help him with an interview. Friend is peter, and friend's friend is Samuel oo.
I enjoyed my evening thoroughly. A walk from home to clementi without the children was calming and refreshing, and of course it was fast. A talk with somebody who dun really know you or the people around you was easy and relieving. You just say everything that's bothering you, you won't hurt him. He'll listen and you're not afraid that this might be a repeated msg for him because your memory is failing you.
All in all, I felt good after an hour plus of talk, and to add icing on the cake... My kids slept without me around.
Oh God, oh God, you're so good to me.
