trip report

The trip is coming to an end in a few hrs time. 8 hrs for zoo and 6 hrs more of waking time before we board the bus to go home, Singapore.
I woke up 4am on wed to do some last min stuff. Left home at 5.40am, Thad woke up excited and made his first ever heard "so tired" proclamation. We all laughed at his expression. We're out of Singapore by 7am. Then the kids fell asleep; shortly after falling asleep, we're made to get off at a stop over for breakfast. Poor kids had to wake up and eat. Then Thad had problem falling asleep again. After trying for 3 hrs, he finally slept and we reached our destination... The shuffling then didn't disturb his slumber. He slept for another hour and we went to the indoor theme park, Thad had a great deal of fun. Hus and I were surprised at how much our boy has grown. He took those rides, some were a little challenging, by himself. Quite a feat. He is becoming more independent and with school, the rate of change is so rapid that we took this more like a shock. Of course, i'm very happy and proud of my boy.
My little girl enjoyed the time outside home for sure. The ever cool weather that doesn't give her a bad hair day is well-received by my little lady. With the extended amount of time she got from a hopelessly un-love-with-her man, aka father. Plus a always nice to have uncle Enoch, she chuckled the most these 2 days.
Tdy is a day of outdoor theme park, we all enjoyed it. The adults enjoyed the thrills rides, the kids enjoyed the family rides, the gohs family enjoyed the bonding time. At the end of the day, hus told me, he likes Thaddeus because he doesn't fuss when we had to leave those rides despite having that much fun. He just cooperate with us as much as he can, it makes taking him out easy and can consider doing it again easy. While he couldn't say the same for ou...r little preincess, she has more training to undergo.
The biggest reward of tdy is, the smiles of my children and the pride of my hus. I surely hope Kay can give me a long anticipated sleeping thru night. My 2 dark eye rings are almost merged together.
