Before Kay left for genting, she was down to 3 breastfeeding per day. Every feed was good, she drank well and fed properly. Then during the trip, I was breastfeeding thru out the night and the journey on the coach too. She came back asking for milk and started sleeping badly again.
I felt so bad for confusing her. She made so much improvements on weaning gradually and here we are back at where we were. I decided to take her off totally. She struggled the 1st night, less on the 2nd night. She reminded me of Thaddeus during the quitting of pacifier. I'm surprise she's actually doing quite well. She stopped asking for it, but she seems to be taking less cow milk than she took. I'm afraid of under nourishment despite reading that it's near impossible.
Because of the sudden "termination", I'm in pain sometimes, engorgement... I'm expressing now and will decrease gradually then stop if the demands stop.
Kay hasn't been taking solids well, I hope with this, she'll soon take healthy amount of food.
