Hus took a half day leave to make the 28 to birthday lady happy. We had Japanese lunch with Kayla and Enoch. Ran some errands and picked Jan up from bugis. Then we headed home to prepare the voluntary babysitters for the evening. As we were pressed for time... We only had 10 mins to hand over.
I left the house feeling unsettled. I had to constantly remind myself "they will be okay, you won't have to leave the cinema before it ends."
Upon reaching jurong pt, I called both of them and both didn't pick up. So we went ahead with the movie. Halfway through 武侠, I received a msg saying thad and Kay are ok. Showered and Kay drank her cereal drink. I'm relieved to read that.
2 mins before the movie end, I received the most beautiful msg "both are asleep" i'm almost moved to tears. How magical? The ride home was very enjoyable, no more jitters, with ease and enjoyment, my birthday ended very well.
Back at home, I was told Kay wasn't totally easy. She didn't wanna leave the bathtub and get dressed so she resisted janna a bit. Then the popular magical Enoch took over and "booop" she's smiling and dressed.
Sleeping was easy for Kay with Enoch too. I'm happy that Kay is learning to trust somebody other than me. Isn't it one of the best present a mum could ask for?
