Thad woke up with a bad mood. He knows abt going to school.
There was some struggle putting on his uniform. This time it's faster... Maybe bcos he's saying goodbye to his primary care giver instead of his primary care giver sending him there.
I spent almost 30 mins coaxing him. Telling him that I'll pick him up (assurance), let him watch video (bribery) after school, let him bring a soft toy (distraction from the new environment, a buffer effect) to school. Hopefully, it works.
1000 hrs - hus called saying Thad is playing already. He's going to leave him there and we'll pick him up at 11.30am. *keeping fingers crossed* I hope no crying for the next 1.5 hrs.
1030 hrs - hus sms-ed "not okay now"
1130 hrs - mummy picked Thad up, Thad was holding on tightly to his cow. And papa says it never leave his grip.
