I'm beginning to like Thaddeus going to school. Other than all the new words, less whining and more organised. I've more time for myself. 1st time, I'm enjoying the stay-at-home-mom job. I get 2 hrs to train little kay on new skills, (alright, most of the time I'm blogging while she practised her standing with support) then I'll do my chores while she takes a nap of 1 to 1.5 hrs nap.
Chores includes laundry on alternate days, cleaning the floors on every other days, mopping on some days, grocery shopping on non-lazy days and cooking soups everyday.
Then I'll shower and prepare everyone, which is kayla and I, to pick our warrior up. Since some of my chores are done, i'm not pressed for time, you can imagine the quality of mother-kids time after naps.
Thad is napping 2 hrs now and I'll bathe kay during these 2 hrs. Then i'll soothe her to nap 1-2 hrs. I'll get another 1 hour of me-self (lunch), which I often jeopardize it by dropping something loudly.
All in all, mommy feels better, the house is cleaner, the kids are happier, hus and I get more time together in the evening. A change that brings many ease.
