Thad has a little bit of monday blues since he had a 3 days break from school. He cried a little at putting on shoes (see? He dint cry at uniform), he wanted me to hold him... I held him for a while and said goodbye. He also said goodbye and off hus and him went.
Hus messaged "He cried a bit just before reaching, but okay shortly after."
12.30pm - just got home after fetching Thad. Teacher said he's moody tdy. I'm thinking either he lack sleep or the weekend has been too enjoyable.
I certainly hope it's not a reset to all the work that has been done. He cried when he saw me at the door, he ran to give me a hug. Once we stepped out of the school. He stopped, looked at me and said "candies".
The walk back isn't as smooth. It is still taking a long time. Thad said "mummy, Thaddeus sleep" implying he's tired and needs to sleep, on his 3rd step of the over head bridge.
God help me... My son is tired and we're still 100 steps away from home. He repeated "sleep" when we're just below our house.
His request made me wanna let him nap in school from thursday on. I dunno if he'll be happy if he knows the extended period of stay is a result of his expression of tiredness.
Tmr is public holiday, no school.
Wed, I will be picking him back 12pm.
Thur, I'll try to let him nap there. He'll be sleeping in air-conditioned room so I think it's better than walking home in the noon sun.
