Surprisingly I’m in my 22nd week, still I hope that time pass much faster. But that doesn’t mean that I’m totally ready for motherhood… Hee! Not that I’m indecisive but I think never will there be enough time to get ready, I should be able to take it when it comes.
Comparatively, Hus seems to be more excited abt the boy than I. Hus loves to talk to my tummy and see Baby react to his talking; and baby really reacts to Hus’ voice. Baby doesn’t react to my talking at all; maybe it’s not bass-y enough to reach him, my voice dun travel I guess.
Because baby seems to hear Hus quite well, Hus is trying to restrict his inadequate speech. For example, Hus is used to calling self-centered drivers “stupid idiot”, etc… then recently he said he has to change soon, before Baby’s 1st words were “stupid” or “idiot”. That thought was really sweet, while I… pretty different.
I’m starting to plan roller-blading trips; I was thinking whether I can return to sports when I passed 2 months after delivery, and whether the sun will be bad for baby. If it is, then Hus might have to stay indoors with Baby while I get some of the “close to depletion” muscles working.
Well, like all mums (especially mine) will say once you’re a mother, that won’t happen. You’ll want every minute to be by his side and the attachment *with teary eyes* from the nine months’ pregnancy, a second of separation will not be easy to manage. Well, till then…

My body took on many changes for the past 22 wks… I would think the 1st signs of pregnancy was the pain in the breasts, then I dint know I’ll be missing my period and testing my pee on a test kit.
Then the +ve result caused Hus & I to be excited for a few weeks, then fatigues and morning sickness set in… I dint eat well and sometimes I had to get up in the middle of sleep to vomit. Then I completely lost my smile… I wasn’t happy. Then something magical happened despite the throwing out, I’m still putting on weight…
