I couldn’t imagine that I know my FIL so well. Hus told me yesterday that FIL texted him saying that he will be moving in on Friday if not after Hus is back from Aussie, as he tot Hus’ familiarization trip will be short like 3 days.
I asked Hus to call back to clarify the msg if not he’s gonna call me and being in the best mood, I was shopping, I was totally unwilling to pick up a call from FIL.
Hus insisted that FIL wouldn’t call, so he really dint make that call. Then later into the evening, FIL REALLY CALLED… Gosh, why do I know him so well?
He started blabbering in his usual mumbling way, which sometimes his sons also dun understand. Then he asked when is Hus’ trip ending, and after knowing that he’ll only be back on the 12th Oct, he said I’m moving in on Friday (5th Oct) then. Then he went on saying, “then you won’t be home alone.”
I “smoked” (meaning fumes) upon hearing that… I was thinking, just come if you want to, dun try to draw assumptions like I’m lonely or dun like to be alone… I almost feel that he needs me more than I do, his presence is not going to make lonesomeness without hus easier to bear… The big revelation was, you just want yourself to look good in this… That you’re taking care of you DIL while your son is away, and he’ll go around telling everyone that he’s making that “sacrifice” despite nobody feel blessed from it…
