Mid-week

Today is a good day. Had enough rest. Slept at 11pm sharp, fell asleep almost immediately. Although I’m alone at home, it was okay. It feels quite good to have time to yourself.

I woke up in the middle of the night, and tilted my head to Hus’ pillow… as though he’s at home… We chatted over the phone last night; he was hanging out with his friends at a bowling alley. He’s enjoying every bit of the in-camp. Getting enough sleep, continuously catching up with friends, not having to pay for your own food, laughter jabs every other min from his crappy friends, etc. I have a happy hus.

I met up with Ginny last night, met her boyfriend for the 1st time. He stands at 1.92cm high… Goodness, I’m dwarfed by him. He’s but a gentle giant though, very nice man. Great Choice Gin! But I know Ginny has nothing to do with the choosing. God chose for her. Yep! They are another Christian couple… Love it, love Christian couples; they make my life a more beautiful one.

Jia Ming & Ginny’s Love Story
Their paths crossed many years back, their connection was the liking for basketball. They played together and fought together in the court itself. Then there couldn’t be anything else going on as either of them or both were attached to someone else.
Ginny was the one who brought him into the Christian Faith, but soon Ginny backslided and slowly lose that faith that triggered her to evangelize widely amongst her friends. She was seeing a non-believing man then.
Then they were both busy with their relationships but they still encouraged each other a lot. Jia Ming helped her to get out of the relationship that wasn’t God-glorifying. She heeded his advice and enjoyed the singlehood too much to try anyone after it.

Although Jia Ming likes her, she had turned him down alot of times. Simply, she ridiculed at the idea of being attached again. It's time-consuming and troublesome. Until one day, God told Jia Ming that Ginny was the one that He had planned for him.

Jia Ming was criticised and mocked at when he told Gin abt that revelation. But God too revealed it to her and convicted her to trust Jia Ming...

Sounds unreal? if you meet them personally, you'll understand the depth of understanding they had for each other and the love they shared, so genuine... there's so much maturity in the way they've dealt with this. Absolutely touched and moved deeply. NO PRETENSE!
