updates

Tdy I’m able to go online in my office again. I also dunno what caused the change again, but I’m sure it wont be for long.

It’s a Monday. A good weekend has passed. I went to the Zoo on Sat.
It was very packed as HP was doing their company function there that day. We brought Amanda and Amelia with us since it’s a children evangelistic event. Amanda has grown up quite a bit, she is less shy now so it’s easy to talk to her.

Amelia has always been talkative, she’s very “aunty”. She talks with a lot of hand and wrist movements but her innocence has made everything that she does and says very amusing.

We were broken into groups to play games, bible and brain teasers. Amanda, Jing Hua, Ming Hua, Jarek, Aunty Esther and Caiying(Connie’s Tutee) were in Connie’s group and we won the game.

Apparently, Janna’s group dint make it to a lot of stations and Magdalene’s group dint get some of the questions correct. We were all happy to win although the prize was nothing spectacular.

The day’s event closed with an act of Noah’s ark, well, that’s probably nothing too shocking since it’s in the zoo with a lot of animals… We headed back to CCK on the chartered bus. Very sticky and sweaty.

I enjoyed myself, an activities-filled Saturday is always welcomed. We has Pricilla there as well. Of course! Wendy is the Principal of the new Sunday school with teachers, Janna, Magdalene and Connie. Helpers: Peter and Enoch. I dint love the Zoo very much, it stink and was too crowded, but the company. The big children provided much laughter and I like little kids, especially when they’re not yours… haha Then Janna and I took Amanda and Amelia to ice-skating… I still can ice-skate after so many donkey years of not touching that ice. But was rusty though… I couldn’t go as fast and as smooth like last time…

Facts of the day:

i like the white tigers... they're very beautiful and alive

Sunday is church day. Hus and I slept later cos he’s starting work only at 4.30pm. We went to Grace 2 for service at 10am. After church we rode all the way to Zion Road Market to fulfill cravings for big prawn noodles. Very nice. We also had char kway tiao…*whisper* and we said we’re dieting.

After a good lunch, Hus was sleepy again. We headed home and napped. While I was preparing Caesar salad for Hus before his work, FIL called and wanted to bring a cabinet (BIL and FIL bought for us at IKEA) over. He was excited and enthusiastic to buy that to place Hus’ collection of bike models; and he brought all the little bikes with him.

Hus and I weren’t too excited as we know how much space we have left for any form of displays. They bought it when we haven even see it for OUR small house… We do appreciate their kindness. They came with a nice cabinet. The colours seem to match our house but we couldn’t find a place to hang it. FIL got so hyper abt trying to find a place to fit it in, and he wanted to help us drill the wall and stuff. Overwhelming… he walked to every angle of the house and repeatedly said, “deh, here. Or here..” terrible host was I at that moment, I just wanted to leave that to Hus. If he wants to display his collections, then he’ll know where he wants to display it. If he doesn’t, he would probably have to reject their nice gestures. In both ways, too difficult for me.

During Marriage preparation workshop, we were advised to deal with our own families… it’s time for application, my dear. Anyway, Hus and I decided to keep it for a while until we can decide what to do with it. It may have to go back to BIL.

Just when our house starts to get settled… another new thing
